Dr. Pei Chen Leads Medicare Part D Outreach Efforts

As a part of the interprofessional educational and collaborative effort promoted by Dr. Pei Chen in UCSF Center for Geriatric Care, School of Pharmacy faculty Mackenzie Clark, PharmD and Marilyn Stebbins, PharmD led 88 first year pharmacy students in November 2018 and helped 38 patients during Medicare Part D outreach effort for 2019.  Among those who changed Medicare Part D plans, patients saved an estimated $40,000 for the year of 2019 (average $2000/person).
