William Vicks, MD

Assistant Professor

I am an Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Francisco campus. My research previously focused on health disparities for cardiometabolic risk factors in historically underserved populations. It has focused on prediabetes and diabetes prevalence in Asian populations as compared to that in white populations, stratified by body mass index. Through my clinical work at UCSF, I have developed an interest in HFpEF and pulmonary hypertension, and am interested in combining my passion for primary and secondary prevention with my clinical interest in these areas.
